# Purpose

Our Dysmorphia's NFT project **main purpose** is to be an **object and support of our Thesis study**.

Since we're creating and researching "in the CNFT space itself", we believe it has the most logic to have a project ourselves. That way, in a period of *one year* we can have our eyes on it every step of the way and collect the most possible amount data of how it is to build a project.

In bit more details, Dysmorphia NFT *purposes are:*\
**Being an object of the study**\
\- to study the NFT project from the inside, you've got to create one yourself\
**Help us financially to successfully go through the study period**\
\- although the funds for the study to come to life are secured, financial help we get from Dysmo mints serves it purpose to go back to community in many ways \
**Gives us ground to create community in CNFT space**\
\- communities in CNFT space are created around NFT projects, not around scientific studies\
**Gives us ground to connect to many other projects**\
\- having a project and community with activities gives us doors to connect to other projects which is crucial for the project's success itself (and for the Phase 2 of the study)\
**Gives us ground to meet members of the space more deeply**\
\- we all know that you can create pretty strong bonds in NFT space, and that discord has become a big part of our lives. With our own discord we are able to connect deeply with members of the space who become part of our community, which we believe brings a lot of value to the pure experience of being in this space\
**Gives us ground to meet founders in the space more deeply**\
\- as with the above two points, being a project founder opens many door in the space\
**Have a platform to speak**\
\- having twitter and discord gives us almost unlimited possibilities in creatively and freely expressing what are we doing\
**Have an more easily understandable way to present the study**\
\- similar to stated above, we believe that only by creating a real NFT project, we could have gotten attention of CNFT community and in an engaging way present what we are creating

\
And last but not the least, gives Dysmorphia a ground to be creative :) more about Dysmos story, in the previous page - [here.](/lab-paper/dysmorphia/the-story.md)
