Process from August 2022 - March 2023

Twitter creation: twitter engagement data Twitter profile was created on 23rd August 2022. It wasn't announced right away that what we're doing is a study, but it was hinted, on September 1st, that there will be some experiments going on. The data which is being collected from those early days is the data about twitter engagement in newly created twitter profiles, and data about what works best in CNFT space to build your audience. Also during that time, we laid out many twitter polls out for the space. Twitter in general is analyzed and will be analyzed for the whole one year period.

OG-EG & WL-EG members: members retention data From 6th Sep we started gathering our EG groups (EG - experimental group). First it was OG-EG turn. Those who followed us around that time and showed decent interest in what we're creating had a pretty good chance of getting our invitation letter (non NFT). To letter, they had to answer that they want to continue with us on a one-year long journey and it was briefly explained to them what we're creating. Then, they got a consent form to sign: it included all the details of what Thesis & Dysmorphia will be, and asked from them to carefully read and sign only if they're willing to participate in the study (anonymously) for a period of one-year. After OGs, WL-EGs went through similar process. Shortly after that, the discord was open for them. The most important data from this period is the data about members retention on each step of the way (insights about amount of effort wanted to give in the space, to gain something back, and what does it depend on).

Discord: first survey on 16th October & discord data Discord was first opened for OGs and WLs on 9th October. First week was used for roles assignment, getting to know our discord mechanics, and rolling out the info about filling the surveys out. First ever survey was opened on 16th of October. We could say that the biggest portion of our research started on that date and it will be ongoing until August/September 2023. Discord data itself (general numbers and the detailed engagement numbers) are an important part of the research too.

Market/wallets data Following of all the market/mint movements is a thing that people in space usually follow themselves, one way or another. We want to examine another part of that story, the background story of - who invests, who holds, who flips. We want to find a conclusive information, mainly for the purpose of informing future project founders of - how to set up prices, how to share WLs, how to go about "Mint Passes" and Free NFTs, and generally see what to expect from different groups of supporters.

Combining data One of the main ideas behind this study is to have data coming from different streams. That way, when we have data from twitter, from discord, from surveys and from markets, we're able to create correlations and make more powerful conclusion of certain truths.
