Who we are & how it started?

Who?

Thesis & Dysmorphia is a women duo coming from Europe. By incorporating their IRL scientific, psychological and entrepreneurial skills with CNFT knowledge they got, they want to create something meaningful to leave behind themselves.

How?

This project started as a "together idea". It formed in a phase of their lives when Thesis was on her way to PhD and deep into reading and writing science, and when Dysmorphia was in a phase of "painting" as a hobby. Since they were both active in CNFT space, what Dysmorphia painted on that canvas - immediately looked like an NFT to both of them. That sparkled their interest in creating an NFT project. Also, being in science a lot at those times, Thesis had an idea of creating a project which would somehow represent "words of scientific writing" (such as nevertheless, furthermore, thus far, respectively etc.), since Thesis loved such words a lot. By talking about it more and transforming those first ideas, what they came up with is: do science and NFT project together; research CNFT space in scientific way and use the NFT project to leverage it and start the journey.

Something else they needed to solve was: how to produce the actual NFTs - since neither of them was an artist? Thesis creating the "scientific words" and Dysmorphia painting on canvas was not an option. At that time, fortunately, AI generated art was becoming widely popular. Dysmorphia started playing with it, and started creating her Dysmorphic creatures - inspired by a phenomenon she was interested in, called "Snapchat Dysmorphia". Thus, the whole idea about Dysmorphia NFT project and the whole story about it was created.

Thesis & Dysmorphia seemed to be a perfect name When two of those combined, they got a perfect name - Thesis, studying the space and publishing the results in a form of NFT, and Dysmorphia, a regular NFT project with PFP characters and story behind it.
