OG/WL surveys
OG/WL sentiment surveys are the founding stone of our research
How many surveys will there be? From the first survey (16th October) till now (19th March) we've had 11 OG/WL surveys. To the time of last survey (August 2023) it is planned to open another 11 surveys (approximately).
How do those surveys look like? OG/WL surveys are sentiment surveys - questioning members opinions/feelings about T&D project. That means that inside there are questions like "How do you feel about....?" & "What do you think....?". The majority of questions are repeated throughout the year, with slight additions in certain periods.
Why are questions repeated? Questions are repeated since that way we can measure the change in sentiment. In the end, the data about change will be correlated to the actual catalyst events being the reason for it. That way we want to measure how important certain events in a life of a project are important/unimportant.
Are only OGs and WLs answering those surveys? No. From when the discord was opened up for public, on 31st October, the Public group was also included in the surveys. The Public is regularly filling up the surveys, in the same time period when the OGs/WLs are too, on voluntary basis. That way, we have 3 different groups filling up the survey, which also serves as a base of making conclusions about supporter's sentiments.
Why are the surveys important? 1. From a degen perspective The whole NFT space is a rather new area of human interest. There have been markets for as long as there have been humans, but each new emerging market brings some new elements to the whole market game. Being a member of this space (i.e. degen) starts giving you ideas about how the markets are operating. Even to complete beginners in the investing world - it gives a notion of how these operations are influenced a lot by human psychology and sociology. With experience you become better at evaluating what could be the best next investing opportunity. While there is many data "out there" to be found by pure investigation of the numbers (discord/twitter/markets etc.), we haven't seen till now that those data has been "paired" with real members opinions. With it, we believe it will add value to be able to even better understand the markets. 2. From project's founder perspective Getting as much as possible data about how to build a project in every step of the way might make a great difference for founders. If founders are able to build without unnecessary waste of energy on things which are not fruitful and concentrating more on things which are, more room could be left to build valuable and creative stuff. With that said, we believe that the final product, the Thesis study, will be of great value to future project builders.
